For the Campaign name, I use the default name, but you can change a name that is suitable for you.
Click ‘Continue’.
Then another guideline appears, telling you that creating a campaign is easy.
Click ‘Get started ’.
Another two steps guideline pops up, informing you that you can jump to any field or step if you like, and you can review your ad before you decide to publish it.
Set your ‘Bidding’.
You can focus on Conversions or clicks or impression share, etc.
I select ‘Clicks’.
Set a maximum cost-per-click bid limit:
“Next”.
Decide your Networks. I choose Search Network, but you can also select Display Network, which can show your ads more.
Locations setting. It depends on your website; if your website is English, you can choose ‘All countries and territories’; But if your website is only Chinese, you may need to select China, Taiwan, Singapore, etc.
Languages. Of course, you should consider what language your consumers or readers use.
Audience segments: if you have previous campaigns, it will show related segments in the Search column. But you can create new segments.
Click ‘Audience Manager’.
On the new page, click ‘+’ to create a remarketing list.
I choose ‘website visitors ’.
Segment name, I think you should set some words relevant to your content or business. Here I type ‘Google Ads learners’.
‘Actions’ setting, as my blog is quite new, so I leave it as default.
Create Segment. My segment has been created.
Refresh my previous page and click ‘Browse’, set ‘who they are’, ‘What their interests and habits are’ and others.
Choose ‘Observation’ which is a recommended selection.
Next. I type ‘Learn Google Ads’ in the blank box and click ‘keyword suggestions’. Then a long list of keywords shows up, which is very helpful because those are searchers using. And you can apply them all if you think those are better than yours.
Find URL, here, I enter a particular article’s URL rather than the front page because I want to make it more relevant to readers.
Set ‘Display path’, which will appear at the Ad’s URL.
Calls adding. I choose not to because I only provide content for readers.
Create Headlines, at least three, showing your website content’s keywords.
Descriptions. Here you should create content that will drive readers to click.
Add more information like ‘Sitelinks’, and ‘Callouts’.
Showing your Budget.
There are recommendations for your Ads. You can view them all and decide whether you will use them.
Look at your Ad’s overview, and Publish it if there are no problems.
